Russia’s Chukotka gold output falls 12% to 22 tns in Jan–Oct
VLADIVOSTOK, Nov 10 (PRIME) -- Gold production in Russia’s northern Chukotka Autonomous District decreased 12% on the year to almost 22 tonnes and silver output fell 20% to 110.3 tonnes in January–October because of contraction of gold production at the Kupol, Dvoinoye, and Valunistoye fields, the regional government said in a statement on Friday.
Placer gold output grew 10% on the year to 2.3 tonnes in the period.
